Next Thursday, we'll be exploring Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) infrastructure projects planned for Ireland; why they should be stopped; the debate on energy security and what politicians and the public can do to take action and prevent further fossil fuel infrastructure. We are delighted to be joined by speakers Prof. Barry McMullin (School of Electronic Engineering, DCU) and Frida Kieninger (Food & Water Europe campaign officer working on a ban on fracking in Europe), as well as members of NHNA. Attendees will come away with a stronger understanding of why LNG should not be part of Ireland's energy mix, and the importance of legislating to prevent the construction of LNG terminals in Ireland.
